Nero Burning

Hi,

I use Nero 6 ultra edition and I can't burn Cd audio multisession.
I burned a couple of tunes, then I tried to burn more tunes using Nero Start Smart and Nero Express, but each time when I ask to burn a tune, the program is asking to put a new disk in.

When I burned the first session I have been careful to ask for multisession burning and take the chaecmark in front of finalize cd, and on the second burn I used Continue Multisession.

The only way that I could add a new session is in using Nero Burning ROM, but I'm not sure if it will give the same result, the fact that it is not written Audio CD in the Burning ROM program.

When I look at the Disc info it sais that it's been burned in ISO 9660 Joliet (Mode1), is this the correct mode to burn audio CD's, or is there another way to burn multisession audio CD's.

Thank you
Germain

As far as I know, there is no way to burn a multisession audio CD. In order for an audio CD to play on a CD player, it has to be finalized. In effect, if you burn one song to a CD, you have a one song CD(kind of a waste IMO). When you burn an audio CD, fill it up because you can't add to it later.

If you want to burn more tracks later you need to choose track at once mode and leave the first (and, presumably, only) session open. You will not be able to play it on a conventional cd player tho' until you have closed the session. Not all burning programs will give you this option. Generally an ordinary cd player will only play the first session on a disk...
Cheers,
Elad.
