Which Toshiba?

Which toshiba should I get? Preferably price range less than 1800, P 4M and 512 MB. Thanks

There are lots of cheap/good toshibas.
Do not get satellite pro 6000/6100, or Tecra 9000. Those are the only models that have had serious manuf. defects that I know of.

Can you recommend me some? I want to be able to use it in college with wireless lan. Thanks

When I've looked at the models available, they haven't been dubbed the same in the u.s. as in europe, so if I gave you some models that I've found good, they might be different there.

Most toshibas have integrated wlan adapters (though, some models have the same exterior for both, w/ and w/o wlan adapters.)

Excellent laptop I've used was satellite pro 4600. But I think pro models are a bit more expensive. Currently I have tecra s1.

Well, I'm using the Satellite 1800. I do not recommend it as there are too many hardware problems.
