ati video card help

Hi everyone,have aiw radeon 32 mb card agp 4x in my p4 1.8,768 ram.xp pro. my setting is 800x600 but when the TV tuner is turned on,it changes to 640x480. after resetting again to 800x600 it works fine,until i turn the TV off,so when going back to TV later,the story repeats.what can i do,as i did get ati drivers from the site.any links or suggestions would be appreciated ,thanks.

Do you have administrator privleges on XP? If so log in as such and change to your desired settings. Had the same prob and that fixed mine. Not sure why. Also check your user profile. Make sure to save the new profile.
