how do you take a screen shot? if i wanted to make a screen shot of my desktop for instance how would i do that?

Press the print screen button on your keyboard and then paste the image into a graphics proggy such as MS Paint.

Also, if you do [ALT]+[Print Screen] then it'll only take a shot of your current active window instead of the entire screen. Just fyi.

Is it free? No? How much is it? Oh, only $40.

$40 for a screen capture utility??? "Rip-off" doesn't even begin to describe that...IMO.

However, in this particular case...paying for Snagit for a simple screenshot would be stupid.
