"IRFTP" in win2k?

Hello,

i was looking around in my computer at different app's that are in there and found "irftp", it said that i can transfer files to a wireless device and it has a pic of a laptop for the icon. i was wondering how it does this? is this a program that requires hardware to work like a wifi card and modem (i'd assume)? don't need to use it just wondering how it would work.

IR = Infrared

Both devices need to have IR capabilities. I never used it so I can't say much more about it.
