Webpage Stops responding

Welp, this goes for what i asked here before. But is carried over into where when i am browsing the web. The page will stop responding. I asked this before where it did it when i played Asheron's Call. Game would just stop responding. Now even if i am in game or not, this happens. I have done everything i could think of. Did alot of what people said. Still nothing works. I reformatted my pc even and still same problem. Either my game stops responding or webpage stops responding. I am at a loss of what to do.

In times past, I have had this happen. I was never able to track it down and prove, but seems to be the modem I was using at the time (PCI Winmodem with Rockwell chipset). I could go off line and then reconnect but that usually didn't help either, a reboot would get everything going again...for awhile. That modem (dialup) was flaky in other ways, so I eventually bought a good USR hardware modem, and have never looked back...so..if I had to make a WAG, I would say your problem may be with the modem you use.

welp. i just replace hard drives. I think i knwo what the problem is. Something in the windows update is causing it once it is installed. I am not sure which one it is but its what i am going on. The new hard drive i installed is running with no critical updates or security. So my game and web browsing is just fine. I am atm to scared to download any updates cause of what could happen again. I will just fight with bloacking virus's and download what security update it will call for. So til then i am fine for now.
