Please Help with USB Video Capture

Hello,

At work I need to be able to captue video from an "svideo" output of a video player & input it to a laptop via USB. The video clips will only be a few seconds at a time & I will probably need to be able to edit them.

Can you recommend a capture device? Would THIS do all I need or do I need something a little more complex?
The files need to end up as AVI's that will play in powerpoint

Thanks,

Pete.

Thanks Wolfreakyn,

Does that mean that the Dazzle products are actually Pinnacle?

I have since also found
this. Does anybody have any experience with it?

Pinnacle seems to be the standout name from my searches.
I am thinking of going that way.
