Sony VAIO Not powering
Hello everyone,
I have a Sony VAIO Laptop with a Celeron Prosessor 366 Megaherts. It runs windows 98. Ok the problems is that, couple of days ago the pc would just turn off the hardrive a couple of sec after windows totally loaded. But that was just 50% of the times. Yesturday, i used the hard drive utilities and checked the harddirve for erros and it had a couple but it said it had solve them. I also defragmented the heard drive, and sisnce it took like 4 hours i left it on all night. In the morning everything was fine, so i just shut it off. Now when i tried turning it on, it wouldnt even enter windows, it just says the Sony logo and shuts the harddrive off. The power light remains on but the harddrive of. Any suggestions on how to fix this
PS: Right after the Sony logo comes up, if i press F2 for the BIOS utilities Setup, the pc enters the setup and doesnt shut off. Its just when it tries to start windows
