You can change the text on the Title Bar from Microsoft Internet Explorer to a text of your choice:

Start the Registry Editor
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main
Select Edit from the menu
Select New > String Value
Call it Window Title
Now double-click this entry and insert your text
Close the Registry editor and restart Internet Explorer

well there is this program called tuneup utilities which has a ton of different features for changing windoes settings and optimization. one of it's utilities is called system control and lets you change the ie name (among MANY other things). it's not free (costs $35) but you can get the trial and just go and change that setting. it seems to me it's worth the price.

You're all wrong:

I.E. 5.5/6
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\INTERNET EXPLORER\MAIN

Make a string and call it "Window Title" (without the quotes)
Give it a value of what ever you want at the top of your browser.

Cheers!

You can do it to Outlook Express as well:

You can remove the Outlook Express splash screen on each Identity too!

I just did it to my own I.E. It does work. Are you logged in with admin privileges?

Shut down I.E. and restart it.

Cheers!
