Need help wiring
Hey people, cant remember how to wire one of these things...anyone know? or know where i can finda diagram on how to...
It is the switch to the power button on the front of the CPU case.
Those are the labels on the black plastic by each prong and there are a blue, white, brown, and black wires to be connected to the switch.
Here's a pic of what I'm talking about...

am I correct in thinking that is a power switch for a at power supply
4 wires
two brown and two blue

Yep...AT power supply.
Black connects to 2
Brown connects to P2
White connects to 1
Blue connects to P1
I have one just like it, (spare) but had to cut the %#$! heat shrink cover off to see which wire went where!

Yeah, it AT, probably should have said that in the first palce, sorry.
But thanks for your help!
Luckily the shrink wrap on mine stopped 2 inches before the switch so i could actually acess them...

LOL...the heat shrink on mine totally covered the entire switch from right behind the mounting bracket to about 1/4th inch behind the switch casement...first one I have ever seen where the whole switch was encased in heat shrink..

ok looking at the back of the switch with the push button at the top
wire connects as follows
top left= blue wire
top right- brown wire
bottom left = white wire
bottom right = black wire
