Spot and contract prices for DDR have remained relatively consistent. Holiday demand can change pricing, but there is considerable uncertaintity in this year's market expecations.
Most analysts believe the DRAM market will witness its holiday prices by the second half of this month. If PC sales look good, then DDR prices could rise marginally. If not, then expect relatively flat pricing until 2004.
DDR DRAM pricing is expected to take a significant decrease in Q1 of 2004, so prices should be dropping even further following Christmas.
