Kids Athlon XP 2400

Have an Athalon XP 2400 to mount on an ecs KM-400 deluxe mobo. Will this run @166 or do I need to hold @133? Can't seem to find which will give me best performance. Has VIA 8235 chipset with Phoenix Bios. Your thoughts from past experience welcomed!

Won't be buit for another week as case is out getting painted.

Thanx

The stock speed of the 2400 is 133 x 15 for 2 GHZ.

The KM -400 lists two versions:

M2 - optional lan, no onboard video
M deluxe, Onboard firewire, video, and lan

Both support 100/133/166 FSB

Guess it depends on the ram, and if you want to run it in sync.

If you have DDR 333, you would have to lower the multiplier to run the CPU at 166.

Guess it's whatever "floats your boat" J/K
