apache stoped working?

it was working when i went to bed last night and this morning i get up and i can't access my site from my ip???? it says that apache is running and i have tryed shuting it down and starting it back up and i tryed the repair installation and it still does not work? i go to my ip and its like there is nothing there????

You're trying to access it by your local IP address or your Internet address?

What happens when you try http://localhost on the machine apache is running on?

If localhost works then it sound like an issue with your name regstration or router config, ie not forwarding the port.
Try to ping it and make sure it is going to the correct IP.
Can you access the website by IP instead of hostname?

no i can't access it by ip, thats my entire problem, it worked less then 5 hours ago and then it stoped, i had already configured my router and all that good stuff? i just don't know why it would quit working

How are you set up here?
Have you rebooted your router / verified the configuration? Does an nmap or portscan show port 80 being open? Can you reach port 80 from outside at all?

If localhost works on port 80 then this is not an apache problem, you will need to troublshoot your network setup.

nothing has changed since yesterday its all the same, i have no idea why it won't work, the only way i can access my website is from http://localhost, everything is the exact same as yesterday
