cable unplugged

networked computer go to "cable unplugged" after working good for a few weeks. I checked all connections for hub to computer and all is good. Other computer on the network is good. Any suggestions

NIC may have gone belly-up. Does NIC on faulty-connected pc still show up okay in Device Manager? Try another NIC.

i am having the same problem... its either gonna be bacuase of a bad NIC or bad cable... in my case its a bad NIC... i have to adjust the cable about once a day to find a place where i can get online.... at least until i get the money for the new NIC (if anyone has one for sale cheap let me know)

butch81385 makes a good point, also try switching cables between the good and bad pcs, and see if the problem is the cable or the NIC.
