Thanks all for the advice.
I managed to get a stick of 32mb PC66 to work alongside my existing 32mb stick. I now have 64mb ram which for this computer and my dads use should be fine.

Glad things worked out. 64mb for a circa W95/W98 machine should be fine, especially for your uses.
