A friend of mine says that he just joined Kazza for a one time charge of $30 and has unlimited downloads of music and its legal? Any one know anything about this?

you can still get free music with the free kazaa but either say its illegal

it is NOT legal (unless it's music thats not copyrighted) and he just wasted $30! it's amazing how many people fall for such things, though of course it's just that they dont know enough to see thats it's not true. if they want to use kazaa they should just get the k++ edition otherwise they should be looking at stuff like imusic, etc.

That is like that family that got sued for like $200,000 because they download music. Their response was that "We sent in money to use the program, though! The program said it was okay!"
