The latest would always be the better, at least what I know. If you are having problems it may be because of DirectX issues. What version are you using? Also, the video cards tend to come with a CD that includes a driver. If you have this CD then the driver may be not the latest. Check that out too. HTH's

Hi

"v-cards tend to come with a CD" that sounded too funny
actually I did try that one but it didnt work out too well

the latest arent always the best, example with TI series 44.03 works the best not the latest drv

I got DirectX 8.1b, worked good with TI series, should I change ?

Thanks
Dan

I have a FX 5200 card...used the cd then downloaded the latest NVIDEA drivers, the cd helps with overclocking, easier then using the nvidea support...have both on my pc though...seems to work fine...what problems are you having...besides the FX 5200 isn't the best card to have...found that out the hard way....

Hi,
If I were you I would be using the 45.23 drivers and dx9. That may solve your problem if it is driver-based. Sometimes you need to run a 3rd party program, such as 'NFR' to remove older or newer driver fragments.
Cheers,
Elad.
