problems with mozilla

ok, i just converted from iexplorer to mozilla (round of applause) and seem to hit some stumbling blox... it seems that my download speeds are capped around 100kb/s but i really dont think its my connection... and my middle mouse button seems to not scroll down when pushed... any ideas? gracias fellow techimo'ers

I cannot fully scroll this site with the wheel without grabbing the side scroller *shrug*

There should be nothing Mozilla is doing to limit your download throughput. I routinely get maximum speed on my downloads (around 200KB/s).

As far as the push the middle button and scroll thingy, AFAIK that's an IE thing. Can't you just use your mouse wheel to scroll?

well, i CAN just keep scrollin, but im lazy and just want to click and move my mouse dont all lazy americans want this same thing?

You can go to your preferences / advanced / mouse wheel /

and tell it to "scroll a page up or a page down"

then when you scroll it'll jump entire pages instead of just a few lines. Same as hitting the page up or page down keys.


Or you can also instruct it to scroll however many lines you want.
