good small hub to network 3 comps?

i need something to hook 3 computers up together (2 desktops and laptop), right now i'm having to use a cross over cable and i'm having problems getting it working between the desktops. i want a small cheap hub that i can connect all 3 to or something. this is just for moving files back and forth cause i have dialup. needs no other features.

I like Linksys brand, available everywhere, cheap, reliable. BTW, why not get a router/switch... price difference between those and a dumb hub are really insignificant these days (Linksys BEFSR41 is less than $50) and you have potential for some growth (shared broadband, another port for pc/printer, etc.)

i doubt very very much that there will be broadband here in the forseeable future. i might just get it anyway (never know)
