I have a computer that was riddled with this virus... norton has cleaned and/or quarantined every one execept one file. It is explorer.exe. I know this is a system file and pretty important- so how can I safely remove without destroying os?? Thanks for any info. This computer is running w2kpro with nav 2003- updated defs... If you need any additional info. please let me know! Thanks

I read that, however... there is still one file that I hesitate to delete that is infected... explorer.exe. Will it corrupt the OS and cause me to have to reinstall?? I am doing this for a student who has a lot of files needed to do work for the courses here.
