VPR 120-170B4 Laptop Freezing

Ok, i've seen this laptop back to tech support around 5 times, Each time it comes back with a new problem, this final time everything is working except for one fact. every 45 minutes or so, the laptop freezes completely, no error message, no anything, have to do a hard reboot on it.

I wiped the hd, restored, ran virus scanners, reinstalled and updated drivers, and yet still this computer plagues me, is there something im missing here?

edit -
Xp home edition is the OS

My advice is either upgrade to a Samsung BIOS (the company that actually made the laptop), switch to a different OS, or disable SpeedStep in the BIOS. SpeedStep and XP Home are a very unreliable combination on this laptop (I should know. I have one.) A good source for info and to ask questions is infoarena's forums
