looking at this trade in my understanding is they take old cards even from nvidia and I was wondering if I was right or wrong about them taking nvidia cards.

It says all over the site about ATI or other manufacturer...bla di bla.

To be sure, best to mail ATI about it, but all point towards the fact they'll accept just about any card.

They'll take other brands of cards, but the prices aren't that great, even after the $50 rebate. You're probably better off finding a good online or local vendor.
