Kids HELP - DUAL Graphics card issue!!

Hey,

In my agp slot i have a Geforce4 with dirvers installed

instead of getting a new graphics card with that can handle dual montiors i learnt u could just put a older one in the a pci slot and windows xp/98 just picks it up.

so i put a tnt 2 in. the problem is on boot up up it wants the main screen to be on the tnt2 card and not the agp GF4

HELP PLEASE!

cheers,

In your motherboard BIOS, there should be an option to choose if AGP or PCI is the boot device. Set it to AGP.

right click the wallpaper and click on properties. Go to the Settings tab.

Click on the monitor you want to be the primary. Tick the tab at the bottom that says "Use this device as the primary monitor". then click apply.

Next click on the other monitor, and tick the tab "extend my windows desktop to this monitor. Click apply.

You can "drag and drop" the monitor icons to the orientation you want: Left to right, top to bottom, etc, depending on how your monitors are arranged, so your mouse slides smoothly from one monitor to the other.
