Dual monitor default changes

My system,
Athlon xp2400 cpu
Gigabyte GA-7vaxp mb with promise onboard raid controller
Kingston value ram 512ddr pc3200 400mhz
Dual 80gig maxtor hd's 7200rpm ata 133 raid 0
Artec 16X DVD-ROM
Cyberdrive 40X16X48 CDRW
Verbatim 2.4X DVD+RW/R
ATI all in wonder 8500dv AGP primary video card
VisionTek XTASY radeon 9100 64mb ddr PCI 2nd video card
Nokia 21" 445Xpro CRT Monitor
KDS 17" visual sensations CRT monitor
Antec 430 watt true power ps
Ahanix platinum xp steel case
Windows xp home sp1

I have my all in wonder 8500dv with 21" monitor set as my primary display. Sometimes after i start my system it changes the primary display to my 17'' monitor on the radeon 9100 pci video card and i have to go into display properties to reset.
this seems to happen mostly after i add neww software or have been working with large files. It doesn't happen all the time.
Is there a way i can fix this?

Make sure your BIOS has Primary Display/Video as being AGP.

If that doesn't work, try re-installing the software for your ATI All In Wonder With updates from ATI. If you find updated display adapter drivers, uninstall your present ones and install the new ones.
