iTunes 4.11..Problem..

I set iTunes as my default media player.
Imported 3 Cd's to my library, and thats it.
I no longer can play CD usisn iTunes, i have to switch to Windows media.
What is wrong.. do i have to register it.and Pay?
doesnt it suppose to be free.?
Please Help.

Yes its suppose to be free but iTunes isn't meant to be a default player as Window Media. I have a Henrico County Public Schools iBook and iTunes will freeze up the computer (hate macs) whenever you try to set iTunes as default. DO NOT SET AS A DEFAULT PLAYER.

Thank you, humm i thought Macs suppose to be lot better.
