CD Audio don't play normally

I'm burning audio CD's with an Asus 52x24x52 and the CD's are not playing on a normal sound system.

All tracks are CD Audio when i look in their properties, i can play them on my computer but when i try to have them play on a regular sound system....nada

I try to put them in .wav format using MusicMatch before burning them, seems to work but again they don't play on a normal sound system. I'm using Nero Express 5 to burn my CD's and also try letting Nero converting my mp3 files to audio format but still no luck.

I really don't understand why it's like that and i need more information.

Note: I forgot to mention that the Volume Shadow Copy service is giving me some problems (Event Viewer) but i don't know if this could be related. I formated and reinstalled yesterday and still having VSC problems......???

Has the standalone system ever played cdr discs?
The issue might be that it's so old/incompatible that it just can't play cdr.

It was working properly before. I have lots of CD's playing but lately it seems not to work anymore and i tried other CD's that i burned before and they are still working.

VSC error:

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error calling routine CoCreateInstance. hr = 0x80040206.

I also have this one in the Event Viewer:

Regarding the volume shadow, seems it was discussed here (don't know if it contains a solution)

I'm still having problems with my burner, or it is the burner that is not functionning properly....don't know.

I burned 4 cd's this morning, 2 of them are not working properly and 2 are working fine..... i'm in the dark with that. I tried reducing the speed to 12x , was using 24x before because the CD's are up to that speed and like i said i'm still having problems. I have a new batch of cd's that i got from the store and i need to try them and see if the cd's are the problem.

Regarding the errors with VSC i don't have any problems updating Windows, i reinstalled yesterday and all updates are installed, the ones that i wanted to install.
