problem

I dont know if this is the right place to ask this but my computer keeps downloading random things..theres comwiz, download plus, launcher, winnet, and some other things but i dont know if they are supposed to be there and i dont know where they came from. My internet explorer does not pop up until some of the programs are deleted..if someone can help me figure out what to do with this i'd appreciate it..also these files will not uninstall..when you uninstall them they come back

Sounds like spyware. Smells like it too! Head over to www.download.com and get ad-aware or spybot. Install it, update the signatures, and run to check for spyware. WELCOME TO TECHIMO !

perhaps trying out a new browser like opera or mozilla?

try out new browser, dont open internet explorer and see what happens
that is definately spyware you have there.

I'm using Mozilla Firebird on both my Linux partition and my Windows partition. It's a great little browser.
