a7n8x-x sound and nic problem

I just installed this mb with an 1800+ and Windows 98 (1st edition)

I cannot get the nic or the sound to work. The nic says that the ndis.vxd device loader can't load the device driver?

Also the sound does not work?

Any thoughts?

are you using the latest drivers from nvidia?

which network card? the 3 com or the nvidia?

yes, and it is the nvidia nic

You used the CD that came with the motherboard to install the drivers?

No downloaded them.

Use the CD installer.
