If I turn up the volume on my speakers too much, I get buzzing. This did not happen before my hard drive re-format. I doubt it's the speakers because I've tried 4 different ones.
I use the onboard sound on my Abit IS7. Any ideas on how to remedy this problem?
I had this problem once with on-board sound. only mine did it randomly and seldom. was more of an annoyance then anything. never did figure it out. What OS?
I notice in my earphones that if I am physically touching my joystick's USB cord that there is a humming or buzzing sound in the earphones. Maybe you are touching a cord or something.
Your sound may be shot. (IMO) check to make sure that ALL the volumes are not turned ALL the way up. That makes my current 'puter make that lovely feedback noise.
i noticed on my old speakers that when i had not updated the drivers there was a buzzing (i was using altec basic 500 i think), once the drivers were in, the buzzing was gone.
