screen color setting problem

Hi

I installed avg antivirus, and since then my screen always changes to 16bit colour once in logs on. I uninstalled avg, and it still occurs! How do I stop it always going to 16bit? Thanks.

Try reinstalling your video cards drivers..donno if that will help, but it may.

The problem is probably in your registry (where there is still references to AVG) as well as certain .DLL files left behind from AVG... an uninstall never gets everything back like it used to be.
