Which radeon drivers?

To make a long story really really really short. I got a Radeon 9800 Pro.

Question: Which drivers do I install?

I heard 3.8's can damage your system.
3.7's are the best?

What about these Omega drivers I heard about?

I installed the Omega drivers have had no problems with them and it comes with an overclock program. Also I use a program Rage 3d to tweak it a bit further.....

I use Rage 3d Tweak as well, awesome program

I use the Cat 3.7, but I am considering to use the Omega drivers soon.

The 3.8 damaging systems is only a rumor.

Yes, but I did experience redering problems with them on my 9800.
I went back to the 3.6 because they give better framerates in my games, I use radclocker to overclock. I've used the Omegas and wasn't impressed.

Using Omega 2478 drivers right now because they come with a built in overclock program. Rage3d cause windows to not boot Powerstrip would lower the mem clock to 230 mhz at random intervals wich cause my monitor to have lines all over and turn purple.

Omega 2478's are supposed to be 3.7's.

I don't know if it is my overclcok or my drivers but I get horrid "lines" more like "patches" when running benchmarks for long times. They just flash for an instanst, but they occur all over. It only overclcoked to 415/350.

PC this is a Built by ATI radeon 9800 Pro.
