Looking for audio drivers for an intel D845EBT2. I can't find my manual having just moved. Recently I had to completely redo my whole computer and everything works properly, less the audio. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, be it information or even the drivers themselves. I can be reached on this forum or email at Migity02@yahoo.com. Thank you everyone, I'm at a loss.

Also, talk to me like I'm stupid, I won't take offense to it. Computers are not my thing and I had a friend build this who seemed to disapeer recently. Thanks again.

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...bmit=Go%21#DRV

could your board be the same as a D845EBT?.......whats the 2 on the end specify I wonder?

I got to the driver above by looking at P4 based boards..I didnt see the D845EBT2 but I saw the EBT...maybe they are the same except for some small item..either way hopefully the audio portion is the same.

Anyway if you go here http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...ort_Intel.aspx youll see the searches etc

Basically when I go to my "Run" function and type in MSinfo32 thats the type of motherboard that I have. I'll definately check out the drivers, but yeah, the 2 on the end isn't recognized on the Intel sight. When I've typed that whole number in on a wide search, google all that, it does show up, but mainly German sites or other people having the same thing and just commenting on it. Thanks for the help JP, I'll definately check it out.

Id try that driver and expect good results...even if the board has slightly different features to give it the "2" designaion..I doubt the audio is different.

I have tried unsucsesfully for a long time to try and make the onboard audio for this motherboatd work. I have tried about 20 simmilar drivers and none of them work. THis board has SoundMAX intergrated digital audio. The chip is AC97 or something like that. I have not been able to find one driver for windows xp that works.
