Business Card Opinions/Help

Hello all,

Looking for some comments on a couple of business card designs.

First off, I'm thinking of having Overnight Prints do my cards. I'm contemplating the gloss from and matte back, print only on the front. http://www.overnightprints.com/ Are they a good company? Anyone used them? They sent me some sample cards, and they seem pretty good. It's $39.99 for 1000 one side print cards. The gloss on the front is free. I thought I'd do matte on the back in case I wanted to write on it while talking to a client. Should I do printing on the back with like services I perform? Two sided printing is $49.99.

And of course, I'm doing the design myself. Or at least attempting to. Here are my designs, just wondering if you guys could comment on them:

http://www.implexantsystems.com/temp/implexbizcard2.jpg (9.88kb)
http://www.implexantsystems.com/temp/implexbizcard3.jpg (8.26kb)
http://www.implexantsystems.com/temp/implexbizcard4.jpg (12kb)
http://www.implexantsystems.com/temp/implexbizcard5.jpg (13.4kb)
http://www.implexantsystems.com/temp/implexbizcard6.jpg (16kb)

My website is http://www.implexantsystems.com so if you want to take a look and see how it relates to my design of the business card that'd be great.

And yet another question: should I call myself a Technology Consultant? I do security, network, webdesign, computer sales, computer repair, among other things. If you don't think so, what should I call myself?

If anyone wants to wip up anything quick I wouldn't mind. I can't offer any compensation, poor kid here Mostly looking for comments on my current designs.

TIA!

-Chris

Impressive website, Didn't relize you were so dang close to me.
ON the issue of your business cards I really don't like the white background and then lettering. I prefer a solid color in background with colored wording or such.

Ours have blue background with discus fish on left side then our wording on the right. Its one people remember and not our old plain ones.

I used a fake address

But... I'm closer than you think. Infact I drove only one street away from your biz today on the way to a client's location.

I'll mess with a dark background, don't know how I'd do it. If anyone else would like to give it a go it'd be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the comments.

The first one looks like there's something . . . missing in the open area.

The second one looks good though, maybe drop the "Implexant Systems" down a bit so it's more centered w/ the right part of the card.

What ER said. I really like the layout of the second one a lot. It's clean but interesting looking. Easily the better choice IMO.
