cant connect to secure sites

i cant connect to any secure sites. otherwise i can connect fine but any site with https is coming up page cannot be displayed. it was working fine the other day and i dont think anything has changed. windows xp. im using IE 6.0 why wouldnt i be ablke to connect?

If it was working the other day, use System Restore to roll back your computer to a date previous to the problem.

You will have to re-install any applications you have installed after that restore date is all.
