samba 3.0 with AD
Hey guys,
I just installed samba 3.0 to my network. I have a Active Directory network using a domain. When trying to configure samba to use the domain for security purposes my w2k machines get a access denied to the samba server. My Linux machine can get into the domain and file server using windows but if you reverse it and try to get into samba i get access denied. Anyone have any idea's. What im trying to do is just manage the users in the windows domain controller. I dont want to have 2 sets of users and settings floating around [1 in windows the other on the samba settings, hence using a domain]. If anyone has come across this problem please let me know, or if anyone has any solutions it would greatly be appreciated it. Talk to u guys later
