hey...umm...my friend's brothers comp...loads in like 20 seconds or less...at least that's wut my other friend told me..is that due to over clocking?? or like...tweaking the windows settings?? and bios?? or wut?

With a few asus boards and win ME it could do that.

I would say it might have something to do w/ the hardware he has. Did your other friend's brother's friend tell you what he had in his PC?

OC'ing will boost PC performance, but not really going to make it boot faster . . . at least that's what one of my friends told me.

Yeah, bootvis sounds the likely culprit. it re-arranges stuff on the hard disk so it loads faster. I got XP to boot on a Duron 1ghz in like 3 seconds (from the bios fart, about 5-6 seconds from poweron) with that thing. Also it depends on your drivers and services.

Nah, no SCSI, mine boots up in 20secs or less, ultra fast 2500 Barton.
