Sound Problem on Video

I got some movies from Edonkey.... I go to play them on my comp and the sound is really low...one of them is black hawk down....its an .avi file. is there anyway that i could make the volume louder on it?? My volume is at max and it isn't very loud.

open up all the volume controls and make sure the volume is set to high

You can download programs that preform a 'sound normalization'. Do a search on google.
