Just beat Jedi Academy...for the second time.

Awesome game!

Quite a bit of replay value too! Many different combinations of the Force Powers available (although after a while it gets hard to reach some of the keys cuz they're spread out everywhere, lol), the different styles using a single light saber, using the dual-sabers and also the staff. And of course we can't forget the choice of staying in the light...or going over to the Dark Side.

Don't have many gripes about this game...as of this writing...I only have one really. lol. And that would be that the choice of going over to the Dark Side or staying in the light would have come earlier in the game...and that the missions would have differed more because you changed sides. While the cutscenes and dialog was a little different (and the ending) the missions were more or less the same as they were before. Oh well...you can't have everything I guess.

Overall an awesome game...it's nice seeing a game that actually has replay value. Most of the time after a game gets beat...it gets uninstalled.

I'm currently playing Jedi Outcast again on Jedi mode, i started playing it about 2 weeks ago, completed it on easy, took a break, and started yesterday on Jedi mode.
It's a great game.

I download a demo of Jedi Academy some time ago and i liked it alot, can't wait untill i got the full version.

So that's how you people keep your harddisks abit empty... hmm i should try that some day.

I have only beaten 1 mission, for some reason since i got out of the hospital, i haven't really played any games, no idea why.

But it is indeed a fun game, i am disappointed with mutiplayer since almost every server is a pirated server (Atleast when i played) and retail is not allowed with pirated

I haven't tryed multiplayer yet, my connection is really bad lately.

In any case you might want to try and install the neccasary files to make your game also be seen as a illegal version, you don't have to worry about anything, because afterall you did paid for the game.

yea i enjoyed it just try choosing the dark side it gets REAL hard once you choose the dark side cause everyone is fighting you

Ya see that was one of the things that I thought could have been done differently...you'd think that they'd "sense" you were on the Dark Side and they'd leave you be...

OTOH...the way they did the story, it makes sense that both sides would be after you. I won't spoil it if you haven't made it that far. It was a lot of fun on the last level, I'd just hang back and watch the other fights happening and take on whoever was left. Whereas before when I was on the light side...I'd rush to help them fight the Dark Side. lol.

I must have missed Jedi Outcast...when did that come out? What's the story line about?

Jedi Outcast is Jedi Knight 2, where Jedi Academy should be Jedi Knight 3, Jedi Outcast came out before Jedi Academy, about a year ago.

You play Kyle Katarn, who was also the 1 you played in Jedi Knight 1 (Dark Forces 2)
Kyle Katarn left the Jedi and does all kind of other stuff together with a woman called Jan, on 1 of the first missions she gets killed and he decides to rejoin the Jedi so that he can take his revenge.

The story is pretty good, and the game itself is excellent, it's pretty much the same as Jedi Academy in graphics, way of playing etc.
The only differences are that you will play the whole game with 1 light sabre, and you have no control over which forces you get, in every new lvl 1 or more forces just get upgraded, can be light, neutral or dark forces.

It's a must that you get this, it's a excellent game, and it really got me addicted.

Btw i really love my mouse with this game, i got a 5 button mouse, 2 normal buttons, wheel button, and then on both the left and the right a extra button, they are very easy to use, and the wheel button really works good too.

I have ofcourse the 2 normal attacks on the left and right buttons, scrolling through weapons on my wheel, the extra left button gets used for Force Push, my wheel button for Force Lightning, and my extra right button for Force Grip.
I use 0/kp Ins for Force Speed (i use normal up/down/left/right keys) and i got on 1/kp end Force Heal, the rest of my Forces are on my F keys.
