aol/modem problems
Hi there!
recently bought and fitted new narrowband modem, now when aol connects the comp reboots......any ideas?
if i go to combatability wizard and ask it to run aol as it did on win98 it works.

sorry.......xp pro, v266 mobo, xp2200+, 512 ram, modem is generic 56k, 80gb hdd

the modem may not be compatible with XP have you got another one you can try??

might want to get the xp drivers from the main website for the modem, cuz xp has compatibility errors with some old software/hardware...
