Is it possible to connect a stand-alone laptop LCD screen to a desktop computer? I'm a little stumped as to how I could implement such a thing, any ideas of how I can actually connect the two?

Possible? Yes

Practical? Probably not.

Basically you need a controller for the lcd to hook it up to your desktop machine.
