NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!

i have a soyo kt400 dragon ultra black edition with a athlon xp 2500+ barton, with 512 ddr ram, a diamond viper 770 32mb, and a maxtor 30gb ata133 hdd.it booted up fine and i started to install the hard ware got everything installed and now it wont boot, unless its in safe mode.i have windows me...if i try to boot it up after going in safe mode it locks up, and it'll just freeze the hard drive will stop loading and then after a minute itll reboot and say that windows didnt boot and if i want to go into safe mode. itll only boot in safe mode and i tried resetting the cmos,still does the same thing.i would try to make a boot up disk for windows but i dont have a floppy. any ideas would be greatfully apriciated.

I'd suspect the RAM.

I'd also say you should run Memtest, but you ain't go no FDD to run it from.

well when when i run in safe mode, the ram posts, should i try to change the speed i bios?

plus if yall are wondering i did use the hard drive in another computer and it booted fine.

If you are just moving the hard drive into the new system that is what is causing your problems as the OS will not have the correct drivers for the mobo. The best wat is a fresh install of the OS but if you need files off the drive put it into your old system and back up the files needed. Another way I've heard but myself would never do is to remove all the motherboard devices in safe mode put into the new puter and see if it will detect the devices correctly but it doesn't make a very stable OS doing that.

Reformat the drive its the only good choice, still with a fresh install windows me is a total disaster is the most bogus OS i have ever used..... boot with the cd and install me.

well i thought of re-doing the hdd but i only have an upgrade version, becuz i copyed my old hard drive which had win95, but the drive i copyed was from a formatted sony, and i cant use the win95 disc cuz the components arent sony. but ill try somethings
