Lock-up blue screen game

I just bought a game called Freedom Fighters. Whenever i play it it seems to cut out about every half hour or so. I tried updating my video drivers but that didnt work and i then tried updating my direct X but that didnt work either.

Has anybody else had this kind of problem?

The game is running at 1024x768 pixels

Pentium 4 2.533 Ghz 533 fsb

512 DDR333 PC2700 mem

Geforce FX 5600 graphics card

Onboard sound

Onboard Lan

120gb IBM IDE drive 7200 rpm 8 mb cache in 2 partitions one 110 gb and one 10 gb. 110gb portion is for games 10 gb is backup

10 gb IDM IDE drive used for system.

Have you checked for patches for that game from the makers website?

Had a look - nothing. Am getting annoyed at game. I will probably take it back and complain and kill person who sold this piece of unstable quality to me.

I'd take a look at your system, what are the temperatures like? sounds like the CPU/graphics may be overheating. You did put thermal paste on the CPU?
