Virus Problem: Downloader.Trojan

A computer at my school is having a bit of trouble with this trojan virus called Downloader.Trojan that keeps trying to download a file called uninstall.exe from pop.rfwnad.com every time Internet Explorer is used. I've tried everything from various trojan scan programs to removal methods from Norton, none seem to help. If anyone can lend some help I'd greatly appreciate it.

What os is on the pc? What ever it is you can try the following:

1) Disconnect the pc from the network.

2) Boot the pc into safe mode.

3) Go to this registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run

and delete any references to Downloader.
