Kids Digital Video to DVD

Howdy All,

Will the quality of the Video degrade as you transfer from Sony DCR PC9 Camcorder/PC/Sony DRU510A DVD Burner? or will the quality when viewing the burnt DVD be just as good as the camcorder feeding the TV? Curious as I havn't burnt yet??

Thanks for the brainpick,
Max

Its just as good. Assuming you capture to your computer using Firewire or maybe USB... I only use Firewire. But when I capture in DV format or even stright to Mpeg2 which requires you to transcode on the fly (2Ghz+ proc speed recomended) it looks just as good when I put it on a DVD-R

as a warning, capturing to DV format requires tons of space. About 11GB per hour of video.
