What kind of problems do you mean? Many cases have plexiglass side panels with Windows and there are many cases made completely out of plexiglass...

in a way yes there is, you will not have any rfi shielding at all, and the computer will become a small radio transmitter causeing interferance with communications, it is a violation of the FCC rules and regulations.

Static may also become a factor, though rare.

You'd have to slide your case across carpeting to really create problems. While probably extremely remote, its possible.

My biggest problem with Plexi cases is that the weight to strength ratio compared to metals means you may end up with a heavier case over-all.

I don't imagine anyone keeping their cases long enough to worry about yellowing over time or the chemicals and oils used in its production leaching out and the material becoming brittle.

Scratches and cosmetics might be a bit more difficult to repair than say painting over a blemish as you can with metal boxes.

I guess as NDC stated... "what sort of problems do you mean"?

No problems here---I have 2, has no affect on a monitor or 5.1 system, neighbors havnt complained about "odd radio signals" causing communication interferance, I havnt had any static probs, and the FCC havnt showed up on my doorstep---YES it is more easily scratched, YES it will show dust, and I would do it all over again...
