NTLDR STILL MISSING.........................................BU T......................

NTLDR STILL MISSING.........................................BU T......................

Ok i posted my problem here a few days ago, and have tried all the tips and advice i've been given and read on this thread, but i still cant get my pc to boot up.
I have taken the hard drive out of the pc and installed it as a slave in my sons pc, so at least i can still access my files, but this still doesnt really solve the problem.
How can i transfer, (the ntldr, boot inni and other),neccesary files i need to boot my pc from my sons windows file?

I have been told that my problem may not just be the missing ntldr file, this is because even after changing the bios boot sequence to start with cdom drive i can still only get as far as the 'tiny' screen before the power shuts itself off and i get back to the ntldr missing press ctl alt del to restart. I even tried using a 98 boot up disc to start from but i still got the same message. (the bios was changed to boot from floppy 1st before i tried this option)

So it looks as if transfering the neccesary files is my only option, but i am not sure exactly where to find them... i tried just copying and pasteing the whole windows file from one to the other but an error message was displayed whilst doing that, i thought that as the system and system 32 files had been copied i might have solved the problem but still no boot up.....

Has any body any ideas on what i should do now???

Thanks in advance
