Do you use Photoshop for more than image editing?
I use Photoshop for mainly design, and some image editing. What do you use it for?

I use it mainly for image designing, whether it be for logo, website, etc. But I'm getting more and more into touching up images, and doing some photo/image editing. No where near where I'd like to be, but am learning...

I have it...its too dang difficult to learn for this country boy...so, I use PSP instead. Not nearly as good as I have seen the "expert" examples...but I can do a reasonable (similar) job in PSP without loosing all of my religion.

I have a gig of RAM and never knew there was a memory % setting! Well, learning something(s) new everyday...
I'm curious as to what that's for as well! Is it how much RAM PS will use maximum?

I always thought it was a "buffer" that PS used for large graphics, cache, history, etc . . . I've never noticed any difference if I set it at 25% or 75%. Maybe I don't use large enough images.
Would different amounts of memory used be different for what you use PS for? Do you need to use 256MB of system RAM if you only create 100KB images?

Any editing needs weather it's for my digital camera or web graphics. Lots of digital camera image editing. Recording actions to use with camera output images is great. 1280x960 is what I set the camera resolution at and my action is set to bevel and emboss, brighten slightly and resize to 800x600 and save. Hook the F2 key into this action and automatically the image I am working with has the action applied. Work with Auto Batch File including the bevel and Emboss action and it takes me 1 minute to customize 40 pictures and store them in a folder of my selection. It use to take a couple of hours.
The new Flash MX looks and feels a lot like Photoshop. Removed it from my computer as there is only one Photoshop.
Cheers!
