Library Path?

i am trying to install ODBC drivers on my Mandrake 9.2 RC2 computer so that i can run iSeries Access for an IBM 820. When trying to run the ODBC GUI, i got an error saying it could not find the library and to make sure it is in the path.

Where is the config file that i need to edit this path into?

Probably /etc/ld.so.conf and then re-run ldconfig. It depends where you installed the library. most things install by default to /usr/local if compiled from a normal source tarball. in these cases its much better to override this at compile time with --prefix=/usr on the configure statment.
Don't take my word on this though, I'm unfamiliar (never heard of) the software in question, so I'd see if this applys to you first.
