Kids new hard drive

I have an 8 gig hard drive in this computer and I'm putting in an exrta 40 I have...is ther anyway to transfer everything I have onto the new one....including the OS so I don't have to reinstall anything? I know Westerdigital has a prgram for that I think you have to have at least 1 WD drive to use it.

There are a ton of utilities to perform this for you.... Drivecopy has already been mentioned, there are others as well like Ghost.

I'd recommend downloading a utility from one of the hard disk manufacturers for the drives you are going to be using, and just use that. Should also be free for the purpose you have in mind.

West. Digital, Maxtor, etc.... most of those companies provide such utilities for use with their drives.
