Booting Probs ..... slow boot

Im having trouble with my old PC which is now a server when it boots it boots realllllllllly slow..... the main Hd is a 30 Gb WD hd, 5400 rpm..... 40% free. no errors that scan disk can tell me and it defrags fine.

when its in the machine you turn it on... and you wait about 6 mins you get past the bios screen and it starts booting windows.

Win Xp Pro
1.6Ghz P4
512Mb SD 133 ram
30 Gb WD hd
its a server soo i can put junk on and store it. it has an addtional 3X 250 Gb Raid 0 array hooked up. Even with the array not connected or anything it does the same thing.
3X 250 WD 7200 RPM hd's

my Delema is i dont have another OS to put on the 30 Gb soo id rather not reformat. Win XP Pro is on it and i dont have the disc to it. i have a CD key. Not a Disk..... ( how this happened is beyond me) i may have lost it in my move. but i need a disk,.. and i cant go spend 229.00 at bestbuy for a new full copy
soo i need somehelp. if i can get a disk of it somewhere please i need it ,... if there is a alturnitive show me the way.

Please don't swear.

Doubt it has anything to do with the os, since it's sitting at post screen for the 6 minutes.

Try loading bios defaults (or even better, see that everything is attached correctly inside the computer).

Usually computers have award bios, which you can enter by pressing 'del' during post.

From the main screen, on the bottom right corner there should be 'load fail-safe', 'load optimal' and 'load defaults'.
